With a festive opening on the 13th of March 2012 the new permanent exhibition of the the German Museum of Books and Writing in Leipzig opened its doors. The museum is part of the German National Library and the exhibition with the title “Symbols – Books – Networks: From Cuneiform to the Binary Code” looks back on 5000 years of media history.

Following several years of planning and realisation, we and the German National Library are very happy to have now completed the project successfully. Our project team was responsible for exhibition design, graphic design, media production, conceptual development of exhibition modules and also organised the execution of all work carried out by the various trades involved. The result is a diverse and lively presentation of the culture of script, book and media.
