In designing spaces as narrative and as experience, scenography makes use of all design media – architecture, light, colour, sound, movement.

And in temporary exhibitions, particularly, the aim is to create a temporary space which tells a story. Charging a space with significance has the objective of communicating content and objects and creating an emotional reinforcement through atmosphere.

For several major exhibitions the IGLHAUT + von GROTE office has assumed the function of an exhibition office, meaning it looks after the entire process of conception and research, coordinating texts, translation and media, loan processes, editing the catalogue and designing printed materials.
