IGLHAUT+PARTNER, the office founded by Stefan Iglhaut, has been specialising in the conception and realisation of exhibition projects as well as related media and publications since 2001. The office partners museums, scientific institutions and foundations to develop content in the fields of science, art and culture and translates historical and contemporary material into images and spatial settings while employing every conceivable format of presentation and mediation. From the beginning, the leading idea behind its integral concept and planning was cooperation between cultural scientists, curators, architects, designers and technical planners. In addition, the office works as an initiator and organiser of cultural projects, e. g. by providing curatorial concepts, realising exhibitions, organising festivals, publishing, and offering project consultation for museums and the organisers of cultural events.
As from 2010, the long years of cooperation between exhibition designer and cultural manager Stefan Iglhaut and architect and scenographer Gesa von Grote will culminate in an office – now named IGLHAUT + von GROTE – with a profile that will continue to develop and differentiate their complementary areas of competence. From now on, projects and services will be divided into three business areas:
- Exhibition Design + Museum Planning
- Concepts, Projects + Publications
- Interior Fitting + Restoration
Many years of experience in the joint exhibition and planning office will enable the team of IGLHAUT+ von GROTE to conceive, plan and realise all the stages of a project from one source, progressing from the first idea to final accounting and documentation.
