Improvements have been made to a classic old apartment in Berlin, already partially restored, by selecting high-quality surfaces and altering the function of some rooms. A colour concept in keeping with the fall of sunlight and the dimensions of the rooms created new spaces with varying atmospheres. A fitted kitchen made from cement-bonded plywood, as well as the cool screed flooring in the bathroom form a contrast to the playful antique windows, the Mexican wash basin, and the baroque wallpaper.
